Power Tongues notes for December 7, 2014

Linda S - Heard the Lord say over and over, “I want more of you in quality not in numbers. When you hear me speak don’t embellish it. I’m teaching you to listen and hear what I say. I’m pure and simple. I get my point across because I speak directly to your soul.”

Mike – He speaks directly to each one of us. He wants us to tell everyone these words are not just individual, we are being taught as a group.

Bob M – Confirmation. This is the time we celebrate the coming of Jesus into the world. He wants to come to us, each and every one to give us new life. A deep, personal, intimate relationship with him.

Theresa - The Lord is near, do not be anxious.

Rod - The Lord says, "Fight back against anxiety and anger and distractions, anything that would stop you from winning souls for me. Use the sacraments and gifts I have given you to win the battle and to prepare to do this. This is my desire that you love one another as I have loved you." Draw near Lord Jesus.

Linda M – The Lord said, “It’s Advent. It’s a time of new adventure, new journey for you. Lay down all concerns, place them in my heart, I will take care of them. You are my holy ones, who give such glory to my name. Tonight let’s you and I talk face to face so I may share with you personally all my love for you. Tell me what I can do for you.”

Mary Ellen – My soul magnifies the lord and my spirit rejoices in god my savior."

Barbara – When we first started, saw a big grate over us, as we started to pray it started to dissipate. Lord said, "Now you can release your intercessions." Went through all my personal prayers. Reminded about not taking back my cry to him. I have it tonight, I hear you tonight. Then asked me to go around and lift of each of your intentions. Again he said that we must leave the intentions with him. He calls us family. We must leave the prayers with him, and reminded of the power of this PTI family.

Adrienne – Saw a dark sky, beautiful snowflakes, ground was covered with snow. We were going through a spiritual winter in a way but he said, “I have put in each of you a river of living water and I ask that you each pour it out on my people.” Then saw a brilliant light on one side and people with back to shadow and word was pray for unity. Prayed for unity in church, government, family life. God said, “I am the answer, I am the answer. I’m knitting my little remnant together.”

Candida – Began by seeing river of honey, which was the sweetness of the presence of the Lord. Invitation of different flow, flow of lamentation, of bitterness, of sadness. River of honey was the comforting that came from the Lord. Reminded of a special gifting, blessing that the Lord had given and it was the knowledge that each person in Christ is like a baby squirrel, wrapped up in the hand of God, and the baby squirrel is sleeping peacefully because it has no sin and it has no guilt, no feelings of unworthiness, it is safe in its fathers hand.

Celine - Background was lights, garlands of mini-Christmas lights. Gave permission to Jesus to care for people. He wanted to care for us, to tend to us, so gave Him permission to do that. He wants to hear from us that we love him. Second word was sacrament of reconciliation, he talked of the healing in the sacrament of reconciliation.

Shelly – Lifted up all those who have not what they desire during this Christmas season. Homeless, lonely, the poor, children who desire toys their family cannot afford, those who are ill, all those who are not able to experience the joy that is supposed to be a part of this season. Lifted them up to Jesus to be nourished and filled by His love and His compassion and his abundant provision.

Mary - Anthem Arizona - Rest assured and put your worries into my Holy hands. You are Holy, Oh Lord. My holy angels surround you, and protect you. Do not be afraid. Be bold. Be courageous. Be still and know my goodness and grace.

Pattie - Raleigh, NC - "I the LORD am setting the captives free, even now as you worship and praise Me in your heavenly language, I am setting you free!" Alleluia, thank You Holy Spirit. The LORD is setting us free from the bondage of religion. In John 14:6 NASB Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." We need to tell the people what Jesus said. There are no others in the Communion of Saints who lead us to the Father. There is no religious practice that leads us to the Father. LORD, thank You for revealing Your Truth to us.

Pat - Staten Island NY - Hold on to My word. It will sustain you to the end. Be aware of what
surrounds you. Fear not I am with you. Do not be fooled. Look clearly ahead before you walk. Obstacles and lies are blocking the way. Do not give in. Stay awake. Walk in the light, charge when I say. You will hear my commands. Are you ready? Isaiah 10: 27. It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder and his yoke from your neck and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil. "

Mallory - Minnesota - Tonight the Spirit worked very quietly. There were no visions, no words. There was simply prayer.

Gilbert - Modesto, CA - I am seeing a font of water, a font of holiness, a font of blessing and of life. This is a luminous pool of water and there is no man created power flowing to it or from it. The light is of God. "I am your love, I love you and you are mine. Shine for the world to see, for you are a portrait of my love. Each of you is a unique masterpiece. I love you, share my love with each other. Each morning, be still and know that I am with you". (The definition of font pertaining to us is ' An abundant source'.)


Madeleine - London UK - After praying in tongues with my eyes shut, I kept seeing in my mind a brick wall and whichever way we went it sort of jumped up and landed in front of us! Us being the tongues group. I asked the Lord to show me what it meant and what he wanted us to do, I then heard his voice saying "Keep close to me, follow in my footsteps. If you do that you will be fine as no wall will ever come in front of me. I am the Lord thy God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, with me you will be safe!" I then looked at us again and we were like little children, surrounding Jesus following Him with big smiles on our faces, and feeling oh soooo safe! Thank you Jesus! May we never let go of your hand, Amen!

How does Eph 4:26-27 speak to me?
God is telling us not to be afraid of anger but to let the anger be without sin. It comes with a warning that Satan wants to hurt my relationship with God’s people and with him. Anger must be constructive and not destructive. We choose to love our families God can teach us to be willing to forgive and hear out the other person without judgment listening with compassion and not interrupting or allowing another to heal. Sacrificial love and giving should be nothing to much to ask for, no sacrifice too even to the laying down of one's life; that a husband should be willing to make for his wife and family. We must yield ourselves. “Elucidation”; where wives give and yield to an imperfect man as to a perfect God and her husband loving his wife exactly as Christ gave up his life for his wife. Likewise husbands be fully submitted to God and accountable.

How does Eph 4:26-27 speak to me?

Anger is something that can cause us to sin if it is unresolved, and it does not take long. The devil acts quickly to destroy. He starts to whisper things in our ears that make anger grow. Pretty soon we find ourselves sinning. Doing things we shouldn't because we are angry. This is an attempt of satan to destroy our testimony. Being a witness becomes harder.

Melina, Fresno:
The result, or fruit, of sin is death, as said in: James 1:15, "and sin, when it is finished bringeth forth death."; and Romans 6:23, "The wages of sin, is death." God's attitude toward the sinner toward the sinner is stated in: Ezekiel 18:32, "For I have no pleasure in the death of him that
dieth, saith the Lord God wherefore turn yourselves and live ye!" Without desire to be alive at heart, soul, and mind you will fall and die physically but over again in sprit, as said in: 2 Thessalonians 1:9, "They will suffer of punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might. Question: Ephesians 4:26-32, "In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold." What does this scripture say to me? Anger is such a powerful feeling when you let yourself do violent actions that could hurt you and other people. This is a sin because you are spreading the defilement to other people around you. This can cause hurt within you and the other people it will our harden hearts. When you practice resentment with your loved ones, you will resent God. This scripture tells me that you can be angry but sin not. We must pray to ourselves, as said in Matthew 6:12, "Forgive us of our trespasses as we
forgive those who trespass against us." When you nurse your wrath, you are keeping it toasty warm, for the next battle that could be over something silly.

Maya, Fresno:
What the passage is telling me is that it is a sin to continue to harbor angry that I care for a prolong amount of time. Resentment that hangs on me like a coat. The devil has used this to put a rift between myself and others. We should be more careful how we communicate to others in our lives. It's easy to talk with bitterness and anger especially if you have grown accustom to always communicate in that form. We will be working on communicating with a tender heart and forgiveness . So, we can receive redemption and forgiveness.

Michelle - Fayetteville - NC - Power comes in numbers when my children come to pray. And strength is overwhelming as they do this every day. Listen as I call to you, and follow all my pleas, and you shall be anointed and blest while on your knees. I always hear you calling; I know it in my heart, for my love is overwhelming and you are just a part. The answers you are seeking, shall be found within my words, and in earnest supplication my message shall be heard. So gather now together, in UNITY and love, and my blessings and anointings shall stream down from above. My voice is in your memory; as you remember days gone by When I held you in my presence on the days that you had cried. I brought you joy and comfort and rested all your fears, and sent my angels over you so you would know I’m near. Now listen as you pray to me and do not be distressed. For my love is understanding and my peace shall give you rest.


Prayer: Thank you Lord for teaching us how to listen to you directly through the Holy Spirit, and through scripture We return these words to you. That which was pure and clear let it take root and produce fresh fruit. Thank you, Lord. Amen

Power Tongues notes for November 2, 2014

Home team

Linda S – Speaking very personal words into the hearts of some people. What came to me was he was giving them new eyes and a tune up.  He was speaking into their hearts saying ‘no’ to feelings of inferiority, of feeling insignificant and inadequate.  He was quieting fears, strengthening resolve, and saying that each little thing was important to him.

Linda M – Sensed from God a strong desire to nourish.  And then he was saying, “Praise me and I will be in your praises.”

Rod – He was putting a new tongue in our mouths, a new song. We can tend to get repetitious in our prayers.  He wants us to continue to petition.  He doesn’t want us to pray the way we always do, but in a  new spiritual way, in the Holy Spirit.  See our families with spiritual eyes.

Celine – Went around the world in my prayers. Gave permission to God to do whatever he needs to do to each of us. Continent of Africa was in mind, and also Asia. Then had  Hail Mary come to  mind, then would go to each country.   Mother Mary wants to help our brothers and sisters around the world.  It came up strong that she is our mother, of everyone.  The rosary is important.  We need to teach the rosary. God does not want to impose, rather he wants us to give him permission.

Barbara – Praying about elections.  Praying that he would wake up his people. He said we need to pray more. Was thinking of the scripture where Abraham was bargaining with God. He reminded us that we have a faithful community right here. Heard him say, “I want my people to praise me more.”

Bob – Pray that people will exercise that special gift to pray and vote and elect the leaders of our country. Run the good race and persist to the end.

Theresa –  Heard “Take up your sword and be ready.” Then heard, “Listen to me, stop and listen, and I will speak to you.”

Mike – Lord was telling us to pray more for the spirit of God to enter into all parts of our lives. We want to be able to give that gift to people, the gift of faith.  He asks us to pray more, intensify our prayer to enter into a certain person and pray it specifically. Let young people see in us something that they want, the gifts of the Spirit.

Adrienne - I closed my eyes and I saw a star filled with light above each head. I could not see faces but just silhouettes .  Then I saw a field of rich dark soil. As I prayed in tongues the soil was loosened and tilled.  As  we prayed seeds were planted and these beautiful tall trees sprung up. They were lovely, huge, full and evergreen. The words were: "The prayers said tonight will set down deep roots and have great impact and long lasting fruits for my Kingdom." Then the stars which had been overhead settled on the top tip of each tree. Christmas came to mind , new life, new birth.

Shelly – Praying for young people, to find direction and purpose. Praying they would have people come to them and share the Lord, share the importance of who they are.  Praying for God to speak to them, especially the ones who have no one to help them, the young people who are living in the streets, runaways, confused, with no support. Felt the Lord’s love pouring into them.

Mallory -  Mankato, MN -  Tonight was a time of intercessory prayer.  I was also given an insight into something personal.  There were fleeting images of Christmas.  I don't know what that means.  Prayer was exciting. Praised be Jesus!

Martina  - West Virginia -  This is what I heard: "Let it be made known, I Jesus of Nazareth am in control, I hear your cry, your heartfelt prayers, I will give you peace, the peace the world cannot offer. Trust me alone. Remain faithful to me and watch miracles  happen in your life. Cling to me.

Pat - Staten Island NY - As I prayed I saw lots of red blood dripping.  This is what I received:  For unto us a King is born.  He is to come forever.  Wait and be still there is so much I want to give you.  Open your hearts.  Don't stop waiting for my words to instruct you in the way to go.  My love is pouring down.  Receive it with open arms.  Call all to feast from my table.  Feed them my words. See my blood.  It was shed for you.  You know me.  Cover yourself with my Blood.  Forever I will be with you.  No fear, no shame, no guilt.  Hold fast to my word.   `

Ecclesiastes 3: 9 -15 -  What profit has the worker from that in which he labors? I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied  He has made everything beautiful in its time.  Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor - it  is the gift of God.  I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever.  Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it.  God does it, that men should fear before Him.  That which is has already been, And what is to be has already been;  And God requires an account of what is past.

Ezekiel 33: 7 - 9 -  So you , son of man  I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel;  therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.  When I say to the wicked, "O wicked man, you shall surely Die ! and you  do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall  die In his Iniquity, but you have delivered your soul.

Fran  - Staten Island NY -  Saw a storm all around and Jesus in the boat.  I am always with you, in you.  Lord, I respond to your will and your purpose.  Let it be fulfilled now,  a body for you, Lord.  Was reminded of Daniel 4 concerning humility. Do not rob God of His glory. 2 Corinthians  10: 5 - We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself against the knowledge of God and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Marge - Staten Island NY - God is truth, there is no falsehood in him.  Seek the truth only in him. Do not believe all that you hear on TV or read in the newspapers.  Know that I am working quietly to perform My will.  The beginning of the end has already begun.  Do not be afraid for I am with you.  Remain strong,  remain faithful  A great reward waits for you.

Matt 11:5-6 The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.  Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.

Psalm 51: 7 Cleanse me with hyssop and I will be clean, wash me and I will be whiter than snow.

Psalm 52: 8-9 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God.  I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.  I will praise you forever because you have done it. And in the presence of your saints I will wait on your name for it is good.

Madeleine - London UK - After praying in tongues I heard the words 'Pray for  the preservation of innocence'. Too many children are victims of loss of innocence. I thought of the amount of children being abused which has gone out of control and started praying for them there and then.

 Liz - Scranton PA -  Reading: Mark 7:45:52 Jesus walks on the water. He says to the disciples and to us: "Take courage, it is I, do not be afraid." This reading brought me back to the message I received last month: Once again I saw crowds line up at seashore to receive a blessing from Jesus but this time many were being swept away before they reached Jesus. He reminds us to pray for one another that all will have the courage to stay the course. "Do not be afraid, I have come to embrace you in my heart. Let those who are wounded come and find healing."  My thoughts turned to those who do not come close to the Lord because they refuse his invitation to a personal relationship with him. Once again this month, Jesus invites us to come close to him in complete trust. Trust turns into courage that we need to give up our fears. Do not let fears keep us from a personal relationship with the Lord.

The True Vine (Our tongues time was in a bible study format)

John 15  1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine dresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;[a] and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already pruned because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will[b] ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

Bryanna - Fresno - What is God's word saying to me? How do I feel about that? Lord how do you want me to understand about this scripture? God is my life source. When I am connected to my life source I will bear fruit. Anything I ask will be done because his will, will become my will. I feel relieved, my feeling is a +10. Physically I feel pain and tension leaving my body like coming inside from the cold. An Image: is a woman with a soft smile. A past memory: was when we were finally able to buy a car. Scripture: When Jesus said on the cross "it is done". .Lord, Thank you for taking full responsibility for me as I choose to live connected to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Ron - Fresno - As I read John 15:4-7 what is God word saying to me? How do I feel about my answer? I believe that (God) will spread the word and love that the world may feel and see what God has planned for them. But if you choose not to spread the word or love you will be cast away into the fire, bad fruit comes from your branch.

Maya - Fresno -   Romans 12:2  John 15:4-7  Ephesians 4:1-3

I think these verses mean that if God is speaking to us, he will use our minds and will open our minds and hearts to God. Then he will be in us and we will be in him. He will share his gifts, wisdom, and freedom from our troubles and bondage in  unhealthy emotion or sin. This reminds me of the part in the movie Avatar when the Jake was learning how to ride the animals he had to connect when them, feel their muscles, breath though their lungs, feel what they felt. If we are not embedded with God we are as good as rotten leaves that need to be burned as in verse John 15:6. When I think of this image of my mind and heart coinciding with God's I feel amazed and relaxed over this phenomenon with God. I think God is saying that when we abide or accept him into your actions he will abide in you in your life. You will be able to grow good fruit and great

wisdom will come from you to other people to learn from you. The lord will do his work in your heart and into your sprit. You will become dead and deep into this world, when you don't work on the connection to you the Lord  (your vine). Gravity will pull you spirit down and make you a slave to the demons and you will be miserable and lost. Once you make that open truthful relationship with God, you will live a happier life knowing more about how much love and happiness you can receive by asking your father for what you need and want. The lord will fill his joy in you and you will not feel  emptiness that this carnal world can leave you with.

Melina - Fresno - My study bible states that: "The vine and the branches: (we are in charge

of being the) organism to glorify the Father by expressing the riches of the divine life”. I feel at peace with this information and wisdom that I discovered tonight. My feeling is like standing out at a beautiful sky scraper dream home with a warm fireplace going on. There is a huge window where I open the curtain to see the bright vivid city lights and the sunlight is setting with its deep bright colors: blue, purple, pink, and orange. It feels like snuggling up to an extremely fuzzy blanket and sipping hot chocolate on a cold rainy day.

Twyla - Fresno - The Lord is sending out an invitation to live with him because I cannot love without him.  I can't grow anymore or do anything without him. If I choose not to live with him then he will have no other choice but to cast me out of the home provided. Listen to my words take them to heart as your father.  I will honor your obedience and whatever you desire. It makes me feel loved. The Lord has a home for me where I'm always a part of a plan and accepted by him.

Prayer:  Lord we give these words to you.  All that is from you, let it take root and produce the fruit you desire.  Let all that was not from you be washed away as we grow in the grace and knowledge of your love.  In Jesus' name. Amen.

Power Tongues notes for October 5, 2014

Theresa – About reconciliation – 2Cor 5:18 –“But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation – He was reconciling us with God, reconciling us with ourselves, reconciling us with one another, our past with our future, making everything one, the dead with the living – bringing everything as one.

Rod  – “Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love endures forever
Ps 136:1 – Sense that I needed to pray for overall healing, along the same lines as reconciliation. Need forgiveness. There is chaos in the world, nations at war. Lot of need for healing. Felt need to keep pressing on with the Lord, asking him, “Why is this happening?” He continued to answer with Ps 136:1. He knows what’s going on. He needs us to continue to intercede. Was praying that we wouldn’t go into a world war because of the direction of the world. Prayed for reconciliation.

Barbara – All the things going on in the nations is stressful. Once before the Lord showed that our prayer together is not just each of us, it becomes the exponential power of our prayers. He confirmed that again tonight, that we are all praying together and he hears. To the 10th power (there were 10 of us present tonight).

Mike – All this is gathered around Ephesians 6, to draw from the Lord’s might and power. We have to put on the armor of God, not feel that these things are too big for us. He is hearing our prayer, do not be intimidated, put on armor of God. Do not stop, continue to pray.

Linda S – From beginning heard the Lord say, “Stand close to Me and ask” He continued to speak of the absolute power and necessity of “stand close to me and ask.” It will open fountains of grace. He will give wisdom in the most complex situation when we stand close to him and ask.

Adrienne – There was a net, heavy fisherman’s net, completely covering the earth. The Lord said “My people are ensnared by deception. Many have forgotten me, many don’t know me, many are distracted, and empty and look to be filled by passing harmful things. Guard your thoughts and your hearts. Though it seems to you that it grows darker, I have placed my light within each of you, bound you in my love and sealed you with my Holy Spirit and precious love. I’m giving you my mother and your heavenly family to assist you. My light in you will shine all the brighter in the darkness. I long to see my people free and to fill them with new life.” Then could see the globe again, could see pockets of light. Heard the Lord say, “One heart at a time.” Then saw sunrise and heard the words “freshness and new light.”

Bob – Lord was asking for prayers for the synod in the Vatican that started today Mary Ellen – Started thinking about all the problems, near and far, especially Christians in Iraq and Syria and the synod. Then remembered, "Make your requests with thanksgiving because if you ask anything in his name, you have it." When the Christians all prayed in tongues they were praising and thanking him. Our requests need that element of praising and thanking God or we haven’t made them properly.

Linda M – Heard the words “unity of Christians. My mission is to speak unity to all Christians, Catholics and all denominations." This is a very special time for all Christians. He says, "To serve Me you must lay down all preconceived ideas about what’s holding us and what it should look like. The enemy is very strong and getting stronger. Pray for all in office. Especially for your president and congress. Pray with great expectation of miraculous answer to your prayers. They shall be miraculous. I watch all of you my children with great love and joy. With each one of you, I am so pleased. Be at peace.”

Celine – My mission tonight was to pray for all of us. Heard the message, ‘never do your mission without the Holy Spirit'.

Shelly – Saw room of prisoners for Christ. One man was in a separate room being tortured. A tunnel was being dug from the room full of prisoners under a fence that was the border of countries; on the other side of the fence was freedom for the prisoners. The person being tortured (they were trying to make him renounce his faith) was distracting the enemy from seeing that the tunnel was being dug, so he had to endure it long enough for the tunnel to be finished. I prayed fervently for mercy, and for strength and endurance for him. Then the tunnel began to be dug from the other side of the fence also, so that it would meet and offer an escape. Finally it was finished and the people, thousands of them, were streaming through the tunnel to freedom. The man had to continue to endure while they escaped so they would not be caught. Then I was fighting the enemy with a sword and with words from Jesus. I could now see the enemy as a form in a long black robe. As the last of the people went through the tunnel, I plunged the sword into the heart of the enemy and he vaporized, and the man who had been tortured was sucked down into the tunnel and brought to freedom. Victory in Christ through our fervent prayers.

Pat - Staten Island NY - The Lord says, "Let Me lead you, let Me bring you to a resting place that will fill you with My power and grace. There is a place where I will lead you. Do not fear. It is to strengthen your walk and feed your soul. Many will go when they are called but you must not hesitate when you hear My voice.. Go swiftly as the way is shown, nothing will keep you back. Your trust is in Me and the need is great for all to follow the way. Strong winds and fierce storms cannot hold back what is to come, so be ready. Stay close and pray without ceasing. Hold Me tight, never let Me go. Luke 8:22-25 Now it happened on a certain day that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them "Let us cross over to the other side of the lake. and they launched out. But as they sailed He fell asleep. And windstorms came down on the lake and they were filling with water and were in jeopardy and they came to Him and woke Him, saying "Master, Master, we are perishing. Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased and there was a calm. But He said to them "Where is your faith?". And they were afraid and marveled saying to one another "Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and the water and they obey Him. Psalm 107:4-9: They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way. They found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty their souls fainted in them. Then they cried out to the Lord in trouble and He delivered them out of their distresses. And He led them forth by the right way that they might go to a city for a dwelling place. Oh that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men. For He satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry soul with goodness.

Fresno community partners God bless you. Our prayer time involved deep reflection into ourselves. Knowing who we are when we stand before him naked, requires removing the fig leaves from in front of us and allowing the true living soul to shine forth the people whom the Lord loves. Loved us before we were born and counts the hairs on our heads. Yes he loves us, he died for us when he knew we were yet in our sin. Lord smile upon us with your grace and mercy, forgiving anything that stands between us and himself. We received these verses for reflection: Isaiah 1:18 "Please come, and let's reason together," implores the Lord. "Even though your sins are like scarlet, they'll be white like snow. Though they're like crimson, they'll become like wool. Luke 6:43-45 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Maya - Fresno - I believe that these verses can be interpreted in different ways for example, the tree can be parents and their fruit are their children, meaning that the children will not only inherit genetic traits but behavior traits such as how they talk, how they react to situations, the way they behave in a relationships, etc. However, there are some exceptions, what about orphans? They don’t have trees…does that mean that children who had unsuccessful parents can succeed? I believe God gives us all a choice between just behavior and foolish behavior, he treats us the same, and loves us unconditionally, the perfect love. These verses may be saying that what is in a being’s heart will show no matter how much they try to hide it. It will eventually seep out. False masks may be created to hide the true feelings in your heart maybe it was a distressed childhood, a death in the family, a feeling you’ve only experienced twice in your life but can never shake. These are the reasons we make masks, hiding the truth from our- selves and others, but sooner or later these feelings turn in to how you respond in relationships with yourself, your neighbors, and God.

Melina, Fresno - Luke 6:43-45 How does this passage speak to me? This passage made me think that your intentions mean nothing if you are not capable of doing good things. The good things you actually do for other people and more importantly, for yourself are what truthfully determine that you are good, and vice-versa. I think this passage tells me how to determine and see clearly who the person is. When you see a person's actions it is not as hard as you may think it is to see. I perceive this as a black and white situation; Either you are good by your good actions, or you are bad by your bad actions. It is understandable that when you are too close, you can be fooled by the colorful lies and cover up from someone else. Most of the time lies sound better and are easier to tell...so it's colorful for that time until the truth comes out. However, since we all do good and bad things, this would result as all bad because we are all sinners. It's like math, where a negative times a negative equals a positive; or like leaven in bread, when you add a little bit of sin to good, the sin will take over, or rise like leaven does. Until we are all cleaned over and over again by the lord throughout our life time.

Bryanna, Fresno - How does this passage speak to me? This passage makes me think that it is okay to take people at face value. Unfortunately sometimes people lie. I have often wondered what is meant by good fruit Is it how successful they are? Is it our children and how well behaved they are or their children are? Recently I've discovered that knowing a tree by its fruit has little to do with outward appearance because of the Pharisee attitudes, that people can have. It has more to do with the Holy Spirit discerning us and others. Instead of figuring out others, thinking I know the mind and being disappointed when I am wrong.

Ciria- Fresno -I hear the scripture telling me that the things showing out of my life is going from what lays deep in my heart. I know God can help me with the troubles I have inside and will bring goodness from the change he has made in me. Because of my origins and dysfunctional beginnings I still wonder if I please God. Lord teach me your ways and your thoughts, because my ways are not Gods ways and my thoughts are not Gods thoughts. Isaiah 55:8

Twyla- Fresno - We are always encouraged to produce good fruit in our lives. But it is not an easy task. Because of situations and relationships. We get caught up in the dysfunction that life produces other than wise good fruit. Our dysfunction can bring death to the living fruit that is try to survive through our traits. Knowing when and how to protect spiritual fruit and produce a healthy colorful fruit is what God want us to achieve. To bring good will with bright, vibrant full and rich color so that others will see Gods handy work in our lives.

Closing prayer: Lord we lift these words, these reflections up to you. Thank you for teaching us how to listen to your word and your voice, as we continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of you.

Power Tongues notes for September 7, 2014

Home Team

Linda S – From beginning to end everything was about forgiveness. God reminded the danger of staying stuck in unforgiveness.  That forgiveness was a direct path to the Father’s heart.  If you want to progress in spiritual life, it’s forgiveness.

Theresa – God was flushing out and purifying each of us.

Rod – Ps 32:11 – Ps 33:1, 4, 5, 15, 20-22 – Exalt, you just, in the Lord – heart and trustworthy, Lord was wanting to refine our hearts.  So many people have toughness around their hearts. When others love them, it burns away the toughness.  We are called to love them. People longing to have their hearts loved.

Mary Ellen – At the last supper, Jesus said with desire have I desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer – He desires us the bride. (Rod confirms that – that’s what God was saying to him too.)

Candida - Everything I saw and heard was love story, started with love story of woman working through her day, burnt a meal because she was trying to do too much at once, chastised herself because she thought her husband was tired of her and she was a messed up person because she can’t even cook a meal.  As she walks around sad, the Lord pops out of a door and gives bouquet of flowers and sings her a love song.  "I’m not like other men, I will love you forever, I don’t want you worrying about your faults and failing, I love you, my love is like water springing out of the earth like a beautiful clear well whenever you need it. There is an endless supply, my love is like warm honey on new baked bread.  It soaks in.  You can’t separate the honey from the bread."  That is what His love is for us, it can’t be removed, it is infused.  It was Jesus speaking, singing and loving the church.

Madeleine – Felt the deep love he has for us. He was here in the room walking around, he put a sign on our forehead,  a diamond shaped piece of lace.  He said to each “you are mine.”  Sense of closeness, showing how much he loved us.  He is particularly concerned about 6-12 year old boys and we need to pray for them because it’s a time in their lives when they are changing and He is calling us to pray for them.

Mike - We must know that we are the temple of Holy Spirit.  The things we want we will receive when he knows we’re ready for them. We were chosen, we are already part of his family. We are to share the love that comes from being part of the temple.  He says, "I took care of all that has been holding you back when I died on the cross. Just remember I love you and I chose you."

Celine – Confirms Mike’s words.  Heard the words, "Pray for each other and love each other." What came to mind was mainly the sick, dying and elderly. Two scenes: It was a child lying against a sofa, just saw torso and head – then second image, saw a mother snatch the child and hold close to bosom and life came into the child.

Coleen – Something about seeing the unseen.  Those who cross our paths and are the unseen in the world, they have their head down, embroiled in weighty matters, they are invisible to each other because of how the world values the wrong things. The true essence of the person is rarely seen.  Saw the Lord entering on back of donkey.  Only those who had eyes to see could see him.  He tells us to see every person and their potential.  We are to reach out, with kindness, to see the dignity in every person, not judge as world judges, see all as his children with his eyes, with his spirit.  This softens that person like the hard ground in the rain.  Then the Lord can knead that person like dough. Never underestimate the power of simple human kindness.

Theresa – “I am about to open your eyes so you will recognize me.  Look up, expect me to be there in your presence day to day in the everyday things. My ways are higher than yours.  Look up, you will see like I see.”  A calling to look and expect to see.

Adrienne – Saw circle of faces above us.  One right next to another, like sardines, didn’t recognize them. The words were “the chords of heaven are looking down and intensely praying for us.  All of heaven assists, watches over you  and witnesses the work I do in you and through you.”  Then had intense urge to thank Jesus for each of us in the room.  Went to each person and thanked Jesus for each specific work that each does. Had sense to connect to the prayers that we were all praying –the Blessed Mother was there and she collected our prayers and presented them.  Saw beautiful ruffles of white eyelet.  Sense was that as Mary collected our prayers, they were purified and presented to Jesus.

Shelly – prayed for those who are unwanted, that they will know their value and understand that they are wanted and loved by God.

PTI Partner responses

Pattie -  Raleigh, NC -  During my time of worshiping the Lord in tongues, a song, then single thoughts and phrases flowed:  "Bless the Lord O My Soul" (10,000 Reasons), played over and over in my mind.  "The Holy Spirit broods over the earth". Gen. 1:2
"The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof." PS. 24:1  The name of four dear friends in desperate need of prayer came to mind.  Then, "Glory Be to the Lord", followed by a reminder that two rainbows appeared in the sky this same week, a full one after a rain, and a partial rainbow in a dry sky!  Amen.

Pat - Staten Island NY - This is the time for all My people to bring forth all My gifts.  Step
up, stand firm, lift me higher and higher.  Let them see Me whom they fear.  I am right here in their midst. My heart awaits their response. Hear it beating.  Go forth with all My blessings.  See them searching, don't make them wait any longer.  The time is ripe.  My Word will sustain you.  Hearts are on fire.  See My handiwork before you: Healing and faith building are all around.  Just let it be done according to my Word.  Faint not, fail not, you will succeed in what I have planned to accomplish.  See it has already begun. Proverbs 4: 4 - 6,  20 - 27:He also taught me , and said to me:  let your heart retain my words; Keep my commands and live.  Get wisdom!  Get understanding!  do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.  Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you;  love her and she will keep you.  Wisdom is the principal thing;  therefore get wisdom and in all your getting, get understanding......... My son , give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes;  Keep them in the midst of your heart;  for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.  Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.  Put away from you a deceitful mouth.  And put perverse lips far from you.  Let your eyes look straight ahead, and your eyelids look right before you.  Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established.  Do not turn to the right or the left;  remove your foot from evil.

Martina  - West Virginia -   As we were praying I saw white roses scattered and we were gathering them, I heard "The  fragrance of Jesus is to be scattered on earth, by My prayer warriors. feed my lambs tend my sheep. I need you now more than ever before. I have no hands and feet only you to complete My task."

Fresno Community is blessed by the Lord and deeply thankful that we can enter into prayer with so many others to find what the Lord is saying to us. We participated in a "guided prayer" and readings Mark & Luke from the Holy Scriptures. The Lord touched our hearts and let us know that his judgment is true and only He is able to cleanse us from sin. God does not treat us with wrath but with compassion and mercy. Our community is so thankful for His tender mercies toward us.

Mark 7:10-13 10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’[a] and, ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’[b] 11 But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is Corban (that is, devoted to God)— 12 then you no longer let them do anything for their father or mother. 13 Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”

Luke 6:43-45 43 “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thorn bushes, or grapes from briers. 45 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Bryanna -  Fresno -  God help us all to worry less about our own sense of reality and come into His reality. You are righteous and the judge over us.

Ciria -  Fresno -  We should not be ashamed of the family God has given all of us. Our hearts should be full of thankfulness for the wisdom of the Holy Spirit . Honor thy Father and Mother and we will be bless and satisfied with a long life. The Lord covers us with humility not pride.

Melina -  Fresno -  God knows we still have problems and need him. We need to separate our feelings with what is really happening. Trust God with what his will is for us.

Noah - Fresno  -  It is best to forgive ourselves and our families. God knows our mind, heart and soul, even if we feel misjudged or left out. Love yourself, your children and love God with all your heart soul and mind. Matt 18: 15-22

Maya -  Fresno -  I learned that everyone is not perfect and I shouldn't try to be someone I’m not. Life would be too boring if life was too perfect all the  time. When I question why family goes the way it goes, even if I don’t understand, I know that in God's hands and that is all that matters. Accept God’s plan.

Twyla -  Fresno -  When I feel left out I remember that Jesus too, said that this world is not my Father’s Kingdom and His Kingdom is not of this world. With God we are accepted as we come to him. His judgment is righteous altogether. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23.

Linda's closing prayer: Thank You Lord Jesus for the grace of this time, for these servants of Yours, for Your ways. We lift each word to You.  All that is of You, let the words take root and produce much fruit.  That which was from our own understanding, let it be washed away in your love, as we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Power Tongues notes for August 3, 2014

Home Team

Linda S - Had a sense of the Lord saying he would help us organize our lives.  I saw people sweeping debris under the surface, and the Lord calling them to get it out.  He seemed to say, "If you don't deal with it now, you will circle around and regroup and face it again."  Then I saw a rich fruitful field, and giving hands lifted up.  Then there was a sense of the Lord working with various Proverbs 31 women.  And finally heard him tell us that he was settling issues that have held us down.

Mary Ellen - Heard the Lord reminding us, "On the cross I paid for all your sins."

Linda M - The Lord was reminding us that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

Barbara -  It started with dark clouds.  Then the Lord seemed to be saying he was bringing the sheep home that have strayed too long from his flock.  And then the sense was that our families will be brought to him as we clean up the chaos in our lives.  And a reminder that he has given us all the tools to bring our families home.

Madeleine - I also saw a dark sky and clouds.  It opened to blue skies as we prayed.  Then a lot of children came running to us.  When the children were running I heard Matthew 3:3 about the voice of one calling in the desert. The Lord said it is our responsibility to teach them how to pray; to help them to grow up and know the Lord.  There was joy from then on.

Mike - The prayer in tongues started with frustration.  Then the Lord said, "Calm, don't go ahead of me.  You are the light to your family. Focus on family, only then will you have the strength."  He reminded us that he is not abandoning us; that we will never have to deal with something beyond him.  Follow his plan; stay true to his plan.

Bob  - As we see all the strife and chaos around the world, remember the only true peace we have is with our relationship with Jesus.

Stella- Saw a cloud, and a halo around the cloud.  Heard a reminder not to get swallowed up into the world.  Saw a lamb at bottom of mountain and a reminder to not get swallowed up.

Regina - Was praying for peace in world; saw explosion, persecution; heard Our Lady say pray pray pray.

Adrienne -  Felt need to pray for the anointing of the PTI group.  Then I saw a ribbon of light going through all of us.  It went from here to all those around the world praying with us.  Saw Mount Tabor.  Heard, "In my favor, rest."  Saw black flags with skulls, and the suffering Christ.  There was a huge rock, like igneous rock, at the core was fire in it.  It had to do with death and the proliferation of death around world.  Saw we were close to a precipice, to a crossroads.  Then came the word from Jeremiah, "If my people will turn from sin I will heal their land.  Saw rays of mercy covering everything.  Heard, "Pray for hearts to be open to the grace of my mercy I am pouring out."

Denise -  There was an incredible sense of heaviness when we started, and darkness.  It was mirroring what others said.  It was like shoveling, almost painful.  Then things lightened up, and it was all about healing.

Celine - Prayed for all events of world at present. Bound the mind and heart of Christ in all events, that it will be a win win situation.  To bring all the events to God.  Invited God to come into all these matters.  Then there was a vision, a lavender cloud, like an arch.  It crumbled within itself, and opened.  I asked Jesus  what it was all about but didn't get an answer.  And finally, a clear picture of church outside the building.  

Barbara - It seemed like an arch of mercy.

Shelly - As I watched the birds coming to the feeder we had just filled I thought of how the Lord feeds us in his blessed sacrament. Do we come to adore him? Do we tell our friends to come and drink of the living water? At least 20 little finches knew within half an hour that the feeder was full and the water trays were fresh. I felt a call to evangelizing. Like the finches spread the word about the seed, we are to spread the word about Jesus' presence, about receiving him in his true presence. His people are hungry and they don't know where to be fed. We are called to lead them to the banquet he has prepared for us.

Liz - Scranton PA - Nations have drawn swords against nations. Peace cannot come when hearts are cold. Injustice will prevail until swords are laid down from again nations, neighbors,  coworkers, family members and within yourself.  Only then will the love I offer come to life. Forgive all, forgive yourself. Let our friendship blossom and grow as a witness to the nations, to your neighbors and family.

Pat - Staten Island NY - O little ones, stay alert, hear only my voice.  Do not worry about tomorrow.  I am right here now and will never abandon you.  Know that I will show you the way.  I am truth.  I am real. I am alive and very present in the happenings all around.  Stay where you are planted and feed my beloved. 1 Peter 5:8-11:  Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.  Resist  him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.  But may the God of all grace who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus  after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you.  To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever.  Amen. John 15:4:  Abide in Me and I in you.  As the branch cannot bear fruit unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in Me.

Gilbert -Modesto CA  - I see honey dripping. It is thawed out. The honey has a sweet fragrance. The honey is a delightful food to many.    "My Love, do not contain it, let My Love flow freely within you and all around you. Know that it is I, that will accomplish in you. Be filled with My promise, My confidence. I AM."    I saw a road, a street, a pathway of precious blue stones (like turquoise). The color is soothing with a priestly strength.     After a time, I saw a cute cuddly puppy. Then I heard, "Do not be fooled by what you see. It may look like a puppy, but it is a ravenous wolf, wanting to fool you, and devour your soul." "Know that I am your protection. I am the light on your path. I give you direction, the road to follow. Know that you are on the street of the redeemed." (This reminds me, we are called to be prophets.) Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.

Mary - Anthem AZ - I kept hearing "trust the Lord.  Trust the Lord.  Trust the Lord." Are you trusting him? Are you trusting your family to Him? Are you trusting the world to Him? Trust the Lord.

Liz - Scranton PA - "My people do not know that my heart is open...that my love is all forgiving and all embracing. Come, my children, we will dance forever more. You are my delight; fear not for the future. You remember the flowers of the field...." The image came to me of Jesus walking in a field of yellow daisies. I felt that I was one of those daisies crying out to Jesus: "pick me, pick me." Jesus bends down and smiles. The thought I had was that a flower plucked from the earth dies but a flower in the hand of Jesus lives forever. Scripture: Matt 6:25-34 

Michelle -  Fayetteville NC - My child, As the time draws near, feel the love of my Spirit ever with you. Prosperity and goodwill shall not be forsaken. Find time to see Me in the openness of space and in the smallest of corners. For  remember, I am with you through it all. Chains shall be broken that burden the hearts and minds of those conflicted with My word. Pray for peace and prosperity to abound. Enter and be guided by the light of My word and you shall see the wisdom and knowledge that is available for you to share and instill in others. A time of unity needs to be seen among all My people--regardless of denomination. Strengthen and bond in My love, for the days ahead you shall need a great army of believers to ensnare and capture the evil in the world. My goodness abounds and a great light shall be seen to glorify My holy name by those who love Me. Have faith in My teachings and do not be afraid.

Prayer:  Lord Jesus we lift these words to you.  Thank you that there is no fear in love, for you are perfect love.  Lord, whatever words that have been spoken that are from you, let them take root and produce much fruit.  That which is from our own understanding, let it be washed away in your healing love as we continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of you.  In Jesus' name. Amen.

Power Tongues notes for July 6, 2014

Linda S. – When we started, I asked Lord what was my job for tonight.  Heard the word 'forgiveness', then heard him say, “You’ve only scratched the surface.” I asked him, "How do I go deeper?"  He responded, "Just ask.  You are making too any assumptions.  Work with me for breakthrough.”

Barbara – The first word I got was unforgiveness.  Started digging into myself. Heard the Lord say, “I want my people to let go and forgive. I want my people purified by my love, but they have to forgive first. He is preparing us for battle where we get on our knees.”

Theresa – He is doing a purifying work on our hearts.  Matthew 5, "Blessed are the pure of heart. They will see God.”  Was praying for each of us to have a clean and pure heart. Heard, "The zeal of God is pouring forth."  Had sense each of us had a private conversation with the Father about private things, as if we were right there in the place that needed the prayer with the Father. Ended with singing “Give thanks with a grateful heart.”

Rod – Unconditional love.  Keep your attitude in check, be positive and loving toward all, give people benefit of doubt especially when they may be wrong but loving them with compassion and humility just as our Savior loves you.

Celine – Asked for healing for our frailties.  On spiritual level, asked God to forgive us, have mercy on us.  Then prayed we would be able to receive his mercy.  Then heard "Do small things to reconcile."  Then heard singing.  Then saw flowing veil, pink, like the sky is pink, then continued to ask for forgiveness and reconciliation.

Bob – The Lord asking him to pray for the bishops, name all bishops by name, and auxiliary bishops, and some specific priests, to strengthen them in this time of attack.

Mike – Heard the Lord directing us to be helpful and supportive to our new priests, speaking about them being the shepherd.  To be aware of the priests we have now, help them, not criticize them. Be patient.

Linda M – Lord made it very clear that whatever we need or want, we must trust in him and come to him with that particular issue. And that we must ask for the grace to forgive. He loves us so profoundly, there is joy when we come to him and ask for what we want.

Shelly – Prayed for priests who are all rotating to new positions, new parishes, that they will be filled with peace and the power of Holy Spirit as they take their position.  Breeze came through the door in our gathering room, and it felt like the Holy Spirit empowering the priests in their new positions.

Gilbert - Modesto, CA - ( Solamente comida spiritual).  (Only spiritual food).  ( Manna, stands as the happiness of heaven.)  I will provide everything that you shall eat.(Ex 16:), pure white manna (Rev 2:17..). You are My children. I do provide for you. Seek only my love, my grace, my joy.  In all things you do, do them in my love.  A cart is not to be put before the horse, nor is a man to be put before the plow.  So is my love for you. Love Me first, and all things are possible. My beloved children, I Love you. I am that I am.   

Mary -  Anthem AZ - I saw Jesus breathing his Holy Spirit over all the earth and as he was blowing, shining lights illuminated all over the globe.  Pray for all the saints.  I intercede for them to my Father. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord and let your light shine.  Do not be afraid.  Rest in me the Almighty.  Little children, surround yourself with my light.  My word will save you from destruction.  I love you with an everlasting love.  You are precious in my sight.  Amen.

Martina - West Virginia - I was praying in tongues and saw a few hands lifted up and Jesus said even if it for a handful I  will come down to earth to listen to you my precious ones.

Our prayer time was blessed. We focused on the household church we have become to each other, since we began praying with the PTI community. The household churches in the Acts of the Apostles had all the elements of church: teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, faith, common life, shared possessions, and thanksgiving.  Pope John Paul II often reminded us “As the family goes, so goes the world.” We invited one another to read 1Peter 2:9-10 and Mat. 18:19-20 in an attempt to have guided prayer this time.

Ciria - Fresno: I experience God every time I am forgiven. Just as Abraham and Isaac went together to offer sacrifice, Abraham knew that God had asked him to cut off the life his only son. When I am in need of forgiveness, I know my friends and family could cut me off, yet because of God’s mercy I am given mercy and restored. This gift gives me great peace.

Twyla - Fresno: Tonight in prayer we were asked to focus on how we experience God in our family life.  All my life I have experienced my spiritual that coincided with my family. I was raised attending church, pray meeting, bible study and outreach ministry. I was shown how to pray by laying on of hands and in the use of speaking in tongues to exercise our faith for deliverance and God's help in assisting our family during trials.  I feel God has  blessed and has been leading my family in the direction he has intended for us to go and we continue to put our faith to work by prayer. I know that our family is growing; we are able to teach our children to rely on the Lord in all things. We teach them to pray and receive the Holy Ghost power in their lives.  Because I practice this faith it has become my rule of law, and conduct for my family life and spirituality are the same.  For that I am grateful.  My God continues to bless our efforts in serving him.

Melina -  Fresno -  I experience God through my family members after every time we come
together for dinner every night, or holidays. Even after we fight we always come back to make peace. I believe that we are such a strong and successful group of people. I think this because after every time I step out the door I am proud to talk to my friends and the people I work with about my family. I feel welcomed to have feelings and express my thoughts to my grandma and sister. I will soon be able to learn how to express this to the rest of my family members in a healthy and constructive way. I feel proud of my family church that I can come to good conclusions through the communication and prayer. It also makes me feel important. Over all, I know and feel God’s powerful love in my little family church.

Bryanna - Fresno -  I experience God through my children and their names. They are my testimony and my husband is part of that testimony because he fathered them. God miraculously opened my womb and he gave us our first son Samuel because I asked for him. Now I have another son and daughter. Nothing is too hard for God. This testimony has kept my family together and brought us through difficult times. I feel humbled. An image of my feeling is of me standing before a huge wave on the beach and exactly like my memory of the day I was filled with the Holy Spirit. In scripture, Jesus said “Father, Your will be done.”

Maya -  Fresno -  God is always with us but I think I see him in so called “small victories” or miracles. For example a scenario like ‘there’s not enough food but somehow it goes around’. I know he can do more than small victories. I think that the more my family prays we build our spiritual muscle.  I think that I will start seeing more than the small victories. It’s good to think of your family as a team. I think teamwork in spiritual life and in family conversations are healthy. I find it exciting, but it is hard to set aside the harsh feelings and frustrations to be a part of the team. I understand it is not as easy as said, but looking at the possibilities as we get stronger.  I do hope we get stronger and excited to get to know more about us. You share your life with your family not just a meal at the table. When you wake up in the morning think of it as celebrating life. Pass on your faith to your children so that they can make their own “family church.”

Pat - Staten Island NY -" Come to me now.  Let me bring you close to me so that you will be so sure that I am with you. Your thoughts are scattered but I will clear your mind and all your thoughts will be cleansed and returned to you in such a way that you will know just what is to be next.  I will bring order and precise details.  So stay awake and listen. All my ways are marked and you shall walk faithfully and assuredly so that my work will be accomplished. Fear not and do not be distracted.  You are not alone and you need to stay alert.  Each step is prepared.
Walk by my Spirit and cling to my Word.  See the light.  It will dismiss the darkness that tries to block you. Malachi 4: 2 - 3: But to you who fear my name.  The Son of Righteousness shall arise
with healing in His wings.  And you shall go out and grow fat like stall -fed calves. You shall trample the wicked.  For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this says the Lord of hosts."

Tina - Morgantown WV - The Lord said that graces were bestowed on all nations during the hour of prayer. He is pleased with PTI. Much being accomplished in the spirit realm during the hour of prayer.

Madeleine - London UK - Matthew 6:33 "You seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness." I  feel that sometimes I give more time to people and things than I give to God, not intentionally as I feel I am naturally committed to God and I offer up my day to Him.  I promise to love him and serve him, but sometimes I get distracted. My prayer is that my commitment to God will strengthen every day! Amen.

Power Tongues notes for June 1, 2014

(Note from Linda S: In my opening remarks I was led to say: "God has work for us to do.  Let's find out what it is."  Then we began to pray in tongues and received the following:)

Theresa – My arms kept going up, lifting up, saw bubbles going up like a soda can, thoughts would come up and would just lift them to the Lord. They would come down like balloons, but then would lift it up and they would stay up. Model of lifting up. Certain individual things came up and prayed for those.

Barbara – Prayed “Lord, activate our prayers.”  His answer was “Our love is to the ninth power.” Then I opened my eyes and  counted and there were nine of us together tonight.  Love to the ninth  power makes it very powerful.  All the angels in heaven are praying with us. All the prayers that we are lifting up are being heard in heaven.

Rod – Heard, “Put your hand to the plow because it is getting close to being nighttime. Be rich in kindness. "  Much about building the kingdom. Doing it in love, in hiddenness, behind the scenes. Don’t ever stop serving.  You can always be doing something, praying, interceding. We’re coming to Pentecost, makes the building of the kingdom so important. Eph 2:8-10.

Linda S - Separate light from darkness.  Clear your thinking.  Weed your garden. Sensed the Lord was speaking to individuals here and there who were reading this: One was an admonition to rest, another to say no to certain activities.  And then to another, “Rise up to be the person I have created you to be, and fill the position I’ve given you.”

Bob – Jesus lives in us. Be open and accept the new life he gives us each day.

Adrienne – Saw all this water and sunshine sparkling on the water.  We are to prepare our hearts and to prepare all the children because he is going to pour his water out on the parched land on the hearts of his people. Wind blew and water came and it flooded.  Some people slurped it up; in other areas the water pooled, wouldn’t go down.  For those areas we need to pray specifically for openness.  He wants to transform, change hearts.

Mike – “Stay with what I taught you.”  Holy Spirit is going to manifest himself through us.  Be patient, be aware, have faith, hope.  We are needed.  He is with us, he will never forget us. We all have a mission.

Linda M – Lord saying to focus in on him, he loves us so much. He wants us to focus on him so he can pour his love into us and through us into others. Heard, “Do you know what I’m going to ask you today? To learn to speak of the good in others.”

Shelly –Prayed that we each would know our calling and that God would reveal the hidden treasures within each of us, like cleaning the attic and finding hidden treasure in the boxes. Also, prayed that we each would know the calling for this time of life, for this place in life. Was looking at a picture with a quiet river, trees, and mountains behind.  The trees would not survive if they tried to live in the rocky mountain, they need to be by the river. Prayed that we would each know our calling for where we are at this time in life.

Mallory - Mankato MN - This was an intense prayer session for me.  As I prayed I felt the following: Pray for Priests. Pray for your enemies. Pray for the sick. Pray for the souls in purgatory. Pray for peace. Pray for unbelievers.

Gilbert - Modesto CA -   Eagles fly in awe, "countless are the galaxies!" They are tiny in comparison to my creation, and beyond your comprehension of infinite. This is how I love you.   Praise be to God!

Madeleine - London UK - Whilst  praying in tongues for a short while I was interrupted by the words "Rest in me." I knew he was telling me to listen to him and trust him more intently, and not try to be one step ahead which usually turns to worry, but to totally rest in him and let him lead us on a path we cannot fall off.  (Thank you Jesus! I Love you Jesus!)  Please continue holding me as I rest in you!

Jackie -  Garrison, NY  -   The Lord spoke to me about trusting him, completely trusting him.  We need to step out in faith knowing that he is right there with us.  His ways are not our ways and we have to trust in his ways.

Pattie -  Raleigh, NC -  Always:  "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."  Col. 3:16 NKJ "Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart." (Prov. 7: 1-3) Let the Word take root in your heart, lest the enemy snatch it way.

Sion - Cerritos CA - "I am delighted to know that you are continuing this prayer and Spirit filled community. Pray earnestly with open hearts and clean minds.   Your thoughts are not my thoughts.  Families, love with unconditional love and forgiving one another. Husband and wives, keep your marriages intact and your families shall be blessed.  Spread the mighty workings of the Holy Spirit.  Pray, pray,  pray always so that calamities may not cover and hurt the earth and its people. "  I then saw the Lord in a white robe anointing people one by one, surrounded by angels who were singing and guarding the Lord. 

Maria-Snow Hill, North Carolina - I was led to read Joel 4:9-Announce this to the nations: Proclaim a holy war! Alert the warriors! Let all the soldiers report and march!  I felt that the Lord said the storm is brewing.  The waters are becoming turbulent.  Watch out for a shipwreck.   My thoughts next went to cherries and I could see cherries on the tree.  I then saw that the fruit or some other type fruit looked like it was rotting.  I felt led to Habakkuk 3:17-18-For though the fig tree does not blossom, and no fruit appears on the vine, though the yield of the olive fails and the terraces produce no nourishment, though the flocks disappear from the fold and there is no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord and exult in my saving God.

I was wondering what all of this could mean. I found out that a ship is a Christian symbol for the Church. The Church is tossed on the sea until it reaches safe harbor. I believe the Lord is saying we need to prepare for the battle against persecution of Christians and the Church.  Just as the crew on a ship has to work together to prevent a shipwreck during a storm at sea, we must stand strong and work together to survive the storm. We must battle for human souls to know Christ and safely reach our destination, eternal life.  I believe the passage from Habakkuk is a reminder that no matter the cost, in good times and bad, we should rejoice in God who saves us.

Michelle - Fayetteville NC -  I have been given the word 'unity' and have seen it in much of my prayer time and in various conversations and opportunities that have availed itself in my daily walk in life. (I have even had a confirmation from a gentleman I met in a hospital waiting room who said he also has been hearing the same word his church.) The following are words I heard while in prayer: Open up your heart to hear my holy Word. Let my Spirit shine in you and reflect all you have heard. Then know my words are true in faith and must be shared with all. I place my Spirit in your heart, I come to give you peace. I give my word unto your heart so you can be at ease. The words I share, the gifts I give are here for you to share. So use them in a special way and give concern and care. The world that you live in today, is  the same as in the past. I send my words with comfort so my peace shall last and last.

Closing prayer:
Thank you Lord for the grace of this time.  Help us to maintain open hearts to hear and respond to your word.  Let all that was from you take root and produce fruit, and all that was from our limited understanding be washed away, as we continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Power Tongues notes for May 4, 2014

Home Team

Linda S – The Lord was pouring out forgiveness – pouring out grace of forgiveness. It was like a fragrance of incense rising to heaven. It will cut through the hardest things. We haven’t even begun to tap into it. Our act of forgiveness is like incense. And there was something about forgiveness being a shield of protection. There is more the Lord wants to teach us here. And he has given us, to help others.

Regina – Saw the heart of Jesus mournful, in pain. Kept asking Jesus to show what it means. His heart is mournful for all the abuse of authority, for those who know him but betray him. Asked him how to help. He said to offer all our sacrifices; he wants to change the heart of the world.

Stella – My mind was drawn to white flowers with poppy inside, saw unity in image of flowers, white around the outside was folded down with poppy inside extending up. It was a sign of unity.

Mary Ellen – “Revive thy works in the midst of the years.”

Celine – Had the concept of sharing. The Lord showed the importance of the sacraments, and of Jesus’ importance. Lot of people that left the church didn’t know the richness of our church, praying that they would regain the faith and know the richness. We are enriched by those who are alive with their faith and share it with others, through witness and writing, sharing. At end saw windows with shudders with garland of roses. Very nice.

Linda – What Celine said ties in with harvest.

Adrienne – Unity was coming to mind as driving over here. Unity in the church, families. When my eyes were closed the room was lopsided. Thought of the team members who were not able to join us tonight. Word was to place those who are not here under the cross. As soon as I did that, the room came back into balance. Saw us all threaded with ribbon of light. Unity. Jesus came and stood among us and his eyes enfolded us all. Then saw us all become little girls. Heard, “I cause you to be like children, it pleases me so much when you come together to pray – even if you don’t know what you are praying for, it pleases me when you come together for prayer.”

Barbara – praying for forgiveness for all the old boyfriends in her past, even back to high school Constant forgiveness throughout the evening.

Shelly – The thought I started with in prayer tonight was from the movie Seabiscuit, which we watched last night. As the horse is taking off and for the first time people see what she is capable of, someone asks the trainer what changed. He says, "Someone just had remind her what she was born to do." With that thought I started praying for the young people, that there would be others brought by their side to "remind them what they were born to do." Then was praying for children, the lost, so many don’t have morals or foundation. They don’t know what proper behavior is. Praying that they would be able to find God and find a good path. Then praying for us and those who pray regularly and follow him and asked the Lord to give us the courage and wisdom to share His love in a way that these young people could receive it. Then saw him come around the room here and lay his hands on each person and pour love into each one. Very peaceful and quiet and full of love.

Lucy - Gaithersburg MD - I was dreaming that I was travelling and had to change my clothing many times. However, the two tops I had were always the same. They became harder to remove as the trip went on. Those two tops became twisted and tangled up. Then, they became impossible to remove. In my dream, I woke up and was now trying to pack a suitcase that kept disappearing. I would find the case, and the clothing kept changing.

Pattie - Raleigh NC - Rest from your striving. The Lord says, "Let me do my work through you, by my Holy Spirit." Rest is a weapon against the enemy. It allows us to be still to hear his instructions and his words of love for us. We discover his favor towards us! Amen

Jane - Bolingbrook IL - I heard a voice saying, " Stand still and know that I am God."
Also that our faith should increase.

Hilda - Bolingbrook IL - I was shown the cross with the bold letter INR written on it.
Then these words came to me. "I am here in your midst and my words are Ye and Amen."
The Lord says, "This is the season of empowerment and a season of breakthrough and breaking forth in our lives. The Lord says he is loosing the chains of wickedness and my children are released from captivity."

Martina - West Virginia - I saw Jesus seated on the throne and all the prayer warriors were rallying around him. His arms were around the group.

Maria - Ohio - While praying in tongues, I got two scriptures. Isaiah 43:19 "See I am doing a new thing, now it springs up, do you not perceive it ? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the waste land." And then Acts 2:17-18, " In the last days God says, I will pour out my spirit on all people, your sons and daughters will prophesy, young men will see visions and old men will dream dreams. I will pour out my spirit in those days, and they will prophesy."

God Bless you prayer partners, Fresno is blessed blessed blessed, God's overwhelming love is being poured out onto us. It began with Lent through Easter (passover)and hasn't stopped. Lets not become slack in well doing, pray without ceasing, remember to minister to the sick and dying. Hold up other with love and servant-hood, as we are called.

Ciria - Fresno - I saw a large Shofar and it was being blown. Then more and more sprung forth from the main Shofars, until they were all sounding together and was quite beautiful. Read also Ephesians 3:14-17

Ezekiel 33:1-10 The word of the LORD came to me: “Son of man, speak to your people and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the Shofar (trumpet) to warn the people, then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head. Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head. If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves.(and continuing through verse 10).

Maya - Fresno - I did straight prayer and occasionally writing numbers or, books, or any visions that came to mind, and then afterwards I looked up the scriptures. This is how I know God is really speaking to me because, my visions and scriptures match up and validate the message, they correspond. I don’t know any scriptures by heart so I’m just getting feedback from praying and looking up scriptures that I’ve either never heard of or I heard of but don’t know exactly where they are at. Had a vision of a body of water, a river, a waterfall . Read Mark 4: 4-25, Psalms 29:4, Ezekiel 74:9.

Twyla - Fresno - Colossians 3:1-14 - Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Ambrosia - Fresno - Colossians 4:2-6 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

David - Fresno - Ephesians 5:21-25 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

Mallory - MN - I sang in tongues for the first ten minutes. The word 'earthquake' flashed through my mind. That was it. I also saw images of our priests. My hands and arms grew warm as I sang, which usually was an indication of the Holy Spirit moving in me. I switched to speaking. There was nothing outstanding in this session.

Madeleine - London UK - After praying in tongues I felt a special closeness and the Lord's presence, and this is what I felt Jesus was telling us! "Do not be afraid My children, I have not forgotten you. There is a reason for everything, I want you to offer up the different situations you are you going through for the salvation of souls, for those who do not know me and those who have forgotten me or turned their backs on me. Remember I love you with an everlasting love! You are mine and I am with you! Keep walking under the wings of the Holy Spirit. He will guide you and watch you!" I then felt a shower of peace falling upon us! Thank you Jesus! Amen.

Pat O - As I prayed I got this in song: Come to me don't wait or hesitate. Iwill set you free. this is Jesus I'm coming to you. Listen listen.I'm calling you, bring me your burdens, bring me your woes. I promise you now that I'll never let you go. I'm coming I'm running I'm coming to you. Open your arms I'm coming to you. I love you now and forevermore. If only I had come to you before. Thank you Jesus for being so strong. Thank you Jesus to you I belong. What took me so
long. Then I heard, "There is nothing more for Me to say but that I love you. Why are you waiting. What is holding you back. I'm calling you now. The time is ripe for all to come. I'm ready for you to go forth with all that I have given you. Everything is in place for my mission. The storage rooms are opened.

Psalm 55:22: Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you. he shall never permit the righteous to be moved. 2 Timothy 4:9: Be diligent to come to me quickly.

As I speak to you these gentle words, just know within your heart
That I am always with you and we shall never part
Just listen as I speak to you in wisdom and in love
And head the words I give to you--- these comfort from above
For when injury is caused and the lonely seek to find
I am only but a breath away in your heart and in your mind.
And I shall manifest for you all the comforts that you need
And speak an inner voice to you as you sincerely plead
For love and strength, forgiveness; for sorrows that have past
For joy comes in the morning and heals your forlorn past
Open up your ears to Me and do not be afraid
But seek My words of wisdom and all your sins are paid

And share them with My people and they shall be renewed
For grace comes in the morning and rest comes in the night
And I will be beside you and keep you in my sight
So ponder not the troubles or tribulations you have seen
But bring them to the Father and then I shall succeed
At bringing peace and kindness, hope and inner peace
As the love of God surrounds you, My love shall never cease.
As the winds of the east move over the mountain tops
Know that the wind of My Spirit moves through the land
I shall show my people that the strength they receive is given from Me alone.
They shall know My words when they hear My voice and shall listen to My commands
For peace shall be in their hearts and the triumph of My will shall overcome the lands
Know that I am your God not only in the winds but in the voices of others
Distant lands shall speak of My unfailing love and all shall seek the glory of My name.
From darkness you shall see the light and you shall be comforted
Do not be in flight nor scurry away,
But take in the food I give to you for the Spirit to thrive within you.
Call unto Me and hear My voice
The Lord of all is near
He seeks not gold or fine things, but just wants us to hear
His voice is calling; He is Lord and reigns forevermore
Enter into My kingdom, Hear My gentle voice
Seek me in the hiding place and place me in the center of your heart.
My love shall pour within like mountains streams and it shall cleanse the broken and the guilt. The forlorn heart shall seek My name, to them I shall not refrain from giving them My peace.

Closing prayer:

Lord Jesus we lift these words to you. Thank you for teaching us to listen, and to respond. All that is from you, let it take root and produce much fruit. That which is just from us, let it be washed away in your love, as you continue to enable us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
