Linda S – When we first started I felt strong word of forgiveness, of  shedding defensiveness and anger and worldly view. I felt a call to make persistent forward steps. The Lord said,  “We’re stepping into rich treasures as we go deeper.” Then the strongest sense was an exhortation to listen to the warnings that come into our spirits.  To listen to the prodding, to not dismiss them, and to ask the  Lord for wisdom and guidance to follow through the direction.

Rod – Lord said, “Thank you my faithful servants, thank you for you.  You are on a Lenten journey. Although I desire your fast, the giving of your  smaller desires, my desire is that you give up your deepest sins especially those that are stubborn and continue to crop up in your life like resentment, unforgiveness, hatred, pride and addictions. I will help you.  Surrender them to me. I will help you get rid of them for good, by you being persistent, by the power of the Holy Spirit and allowing him to convict your heart.

Theresa – Saw peace, it came right down the middle of us. Perceived the word 'peace'. As we continued to pray it went deeper, peeled away layers. The peace wasn’t like a nebulous thing, it started to go to each of us here. Peace came in the form of forgiveness, guidance, honesty, power, mercy, perseverance, healing, courage, and light/clarity.  They were forms of the peace, it was very active among us.

Barbara – Found myself yawning.  Yawning as a deliverance of the different little sins that the Lord was pulling out of us.  There was a clearing of peace flowing through the whole room.  It took all that work beforehand to get to that place.  Then Lord said, "And now it’s time to really hear me." Then also heard, "And pay attention to the warnings of my mother." Then I understood, 'After we can hear him then we listen to her'.  Then had a great move of peace.

Mary Ellen – Started out with "Thank you, praise you Lord that you are savior and not me.” Then thought of all the situations and places where people try to take on the job of savior and it’s a crushing burden.  He wants to relieve us of  the pressure to produce what we think it’s going to save, the pressure to save it from the human psyche instead of allowing the Lord to be the hand in glove that does the saving, the joy.

Paul – Received word, to 'wrench open our hearts and allow Christ in the Eucharist in'.

Adrienne – Saw dark background and kept praying, saw what looked like lighting but it wasn’t moving like lightening.  It was branch of light coming through the darkness, and there were dark clouds; could see globe, but it was about praying for “hearts to be open to me and eyes to see me for I am pouring out my grace.” And then it was about pray that hearts will respond to graces He is pouring out during this season. Then the scene completely changed.  He was sitting with gorgeous smile on his face and rays of light, like in movies when they have lights that look like clouds. Then he was sending out his angels to do battle in different battle stations.  Then heard, "On you my light shines" (meaning the group).  Then the  rest of time was praying thanksgiving for all he was doing tonight.

Mike – Lot of attention on listening, encouraging us to do all we can to listen. He has all these things to say to us. We are his chosen ones. When we wait on him great things are going to happen.  Right now he is saying to wait and listen to his teaching.

Shelly – Focus was on spiritual bondage.  Saw the foot binding that used to be done in old times and thought of how in severe cases the feet were so small that the people couldn’t even walk. Feet were not large enough to support them.  Spiritually that can happen.  Prayed for people, saw them wrapped with arms at sides, unable to raise up arms in worship.  Went to people and cut the bindings off. Then saw myself swimming in a pool of green slime.  People were trapped in it.  Went to the wall and there was a door and a latch.  Said, “In the name of Jesus, in the power of Jesus, be opened.”  I unlatched the door.  The green slime drained out and God rained down fresh clean water from heaven to cleanse all the people.  They were set free and cleansed.

Celine – Came in two sections. Gave permission to God to break barriers, then mouth became very dry. Drank some water. What came to mind was parched lands, and Lord said,  “I will be the rain, I will give drink to those who are thirsting.   You are my people and I am your God." Then the second session was more about people that are like the alzheimers patients, sick in bed and unable to be helped.  Offered that state of theirs to become fruitful into God’s hands, that state where they are unable to do it by themselves. Prayed that God would use that state for his good. Found myself saying Our Father, Hail Mary, glory be. Then experienced the dry mouth again and the saw the parched land and heard him say again that he gives rain to the thirsty.

Pattie - Raleigh NC -  We are to have no other focus but Jesus alone.  Do not be double-minded to share our attention to Jesus, with anyone else in the Communion of Saints.  Hebrews 12:2 “ fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfector of faith. John 14:6  Jesus answered, “...No one comes to the Father except through Me”.  James 1:8  Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.


Mary M - Anthem AZ - Fear not, rest in me. Perilous times are coming, but your tent will be secure, and your salvation not hindered. Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say Rejoice, for the day will come when the bridegroom is ready and
the trumpet will sound.  Stand tall, be ready for the time is near.  All my precious saints know me, and I know them.  Be still, Be Ready.


Mary -  Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - I joined you all in prayer yesterday but I did not receive any 'message'.  As I prayed in tongues my thoughts were of the religious fanaticism going on around and even in India. God blesses in His abundance the PTI and all who participate. I appreciate very much for keeping me informed as a participant.

Gilbert - Modesto CA -   "Be still know that I am your living water." "Be My human vessel, absorb My Blessings, share My Light. Others too, will want this blessing. Be a beacon for all, I am with you"

Madeleine - London UK -  I was led to the Beatitudes, specifically the eighth one which is "BLESSED ARE THEY WHO ARE PERSECUTED FOR THE SAKE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR THEIRS IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN." I felt that we all come under attack at times when nonbelievers are trying to prove their point. However the biblical passage continues to elaborate "Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets before you"(Matthew 5:11-12) .

Some among our group here in Fresno are teenagers or new to group prayer. I am always amazed at the things that the Lord shares with us through these young hearts. We had such a wonderful time together. It is a true blessing to be together and the Lord is always with us. He gives us so much encouragement and love. Out of the mouths of babes he confounds the wise. It is hard to believe we have not always prayed together like this yet it feels like we have always prayed together. I wish to thank the PTI family for the commitment to prayer. We know we have been drawn into a miraculous experience here with all of you. May the Lord Jesus bless you all until next time.

2 Corinthians 4:1-10: The righteous must suffer, what does this mean to me?

Ciria -  Fresno - I understand that God’s people are not of this world and this world won’t love us. We will be rejected by friends and family and know the pain of abandonment. Yet we know when we feel deeply troubled by rejection or for the gospel of Christ, it is because it is Christ they are rejecting. We will lose another friend or family member. Let go and allow God to comfort that sense of loss and pain. Embrace the reason why you are left out or left behind. Pray for others that they will come to the knowledge of Christ and pray they will enter into the Father’s kingdom. We must die with Jesus and we shall be raised as Jesus. Until then let’s bless the Savior’s name and allow his peace to fill the empty arms until God’s children come home to your Father and their Father. Jesus forgive them. It’s foolish pride and love of the cares of this world they are following after. Lord hear our prayers for forgiveness and not let a bitterness fill in the emptiness that rejection leaves like a hole in the human heart. Jesus we love you hold onto us all dear Lord for your name's sake. Bless and make us stand strong and proclaim the truth, then the power of the Spirit and love anointing us until we rise above this earthly plane and find our God again.

Bryanna -  Fresno - We can expect to be rejected and treated the same way that Christ was. Accepting this is righteousness fully understanding how Jesus was rejected, is the only way we can fully accept him. If we accept him and his rejection with full knowledge and understanding we will know his faithfulness to us and he will acknowledge our faithfulness to him.

Maya - Fresno - II Corinthians 4:8–10 - When Gods people suffer they must acknowledge Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. Crucifixion—being the bad things in life; resurrection—being the hope that God gives us that eternal life is ahead ready to pay off all the heartache. Although, for now believers need to act like ducks—let the water slide right off and have faith and trust in eventual but sure divine intervention. We need to make a decision to serve God no matter what
barriers there are in the road to the Kingdom Of God Almighty. AMEN!!
This is very much similar to a poem that I read recently in my high school English class written by a poet during the Romantic Movement. One of the main ideas in
this movement is that human emotion is much stronger than precise reason and knowledge. The poem is “Ode to Melancholy” by the poet John Keats, and takes
the two opposite human emotions and combines them coming up with the theme:
“Embrace your sorrow”. At first I did not understand this but after this night of prayer I understand. We as God's children need to accept the scorn that the enemy has put upon us to truly understand and respect the pain that Jesus Christ has paid for us. This also reminds me of a lesson that I have tried to teach myself, and that is to be rational, meaning that I will not act childish in the natural carnal way of the want for revenge. This is another way of saying that I am not accepting the difficulties of life. This is similar to the Freedom Riders in the Civil Rights movement; and how they kept persistent with their message, while refusing to fight back. They stood…and took the unjustified punishment (similar to the unjustified persecution Jesus took from the Roman soldiers); faithful knowing that eventually there is a reward. This is an example of a true warrior—someone who has the endurance of diamond and the mind saturated in the Word of God. James 1: 19 & 20: Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Twyla -  Fresno - This  scripture has witness to me greatly. In the last 7 months I have been tested and tried on every front of my life.  I have faltered along the way and have lost faith and questioned if God even loved me to allow all these trials to fall on to me but God finally dropped me down to one of the lowest points I have ever fault in my life. I'm sitting on a street corner realizing I have nowhere else  to turn but to him; that I need to change my life and the way I think to get myself out of the dumps because I have just given up. I had allowed my circumstance to become my truth that I had failed. The internal fight overtook me. I gave it up to God and said 'whatever lesson I need Lord let me have it'. Since that day a month ago I have peace. My circumstance haven't changed; the enemy is still bearing false witness against me.  I still don't have a job or income but I'm not sitting in the mud of confusion.  I'm standing with my Father and trusting that he knows everything and that he has a plan for me and that doors will open on his command.

Melina - Fresno -1Thesessolonians 5:17 and Psalm 30:5.  The Thessalonians  scripture means to pray continually for a fresh and holy cleansed heart. This is to clear all thoughts and focus on nothing else but him first always while we do our daily duties. The more we pray we will be filled with joy. Be aware of the temptation to just “saying” holy things without really praying. Use your prayer time like how you would when your focusing on a hobby. Pray with structure and in a pattern throughout your day. Prayer is a private time for the relationship between with you and the Lord. In 1Thesessolonians 5:22, it says, “restrain from every form of evil.” So do not do anything or go anywhere where someone or something would pull you away from your prayer time. Calm your heart and open your listening spirit. Learn from the sign that you ponder on and ask him why this captures your attention. “Let the Lord sanctify you completely as your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless” (1Thesessolonians 5:23). This means, the Lord will declare you holy, cleanse you and bless you. He will also help lift burdens from troubles in your life in reward of your patience, worship, and commitment of love.


Pat - Staten Island NY - After praying in tongues I got this word: In your hands I have placed the way of life.  Why are you puzzled?  I have told you I will show you the way.  Read My Word, follow My Word, keep My Word close to your heart. As days near close you will use My Word to open doors so that you will be able to clearly proceed to the place which I have prepared for you.  More will follow. Do not be alarmed.  They also have been called and are heeding My call.  Little ones will need guidance and comfort,  Do not fear.  I will hold your
hand forever. Isaiah 41:9-13,  You whom I (the Lord) have taken from the ends of the earth and have called from the corners of it, I said to you, "You are My servant. I have chosen you and not cast you off (even though you are exiled). Fear not (there is nothing to fear) for I am with you. Do not look around you in terror and be dismayed for I am your God.  I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties.  Yes I will help you, yes I will hold you up and retain you with My (victorious) right hand of rightness and justice. Behold all who are enraged and inflamed against you shall be put to shame and confounded ; they who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish.  You shall seek those who contend with you but shall not find them; they who war against you shall be as nothing, as nothing at all.  For I the Lord your God hold your right hand, I am the Lord Who says to you. Fear not I will help you!"


Theresa's closing prayer – Father in heaven we thank you for this time. We place everything you have given us in your hands. Purify our hearts and minds. We trust you for the work you’re going to do.  Amen.

Linda's prayer - Father thank you for encouraging us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Note:  All of this is about learning to listen to God.  It comes in a variety of ways.  Be open to hear from the Lord whatever way he chooses.
